This Fall, at our Sunday liturgies, we are taking some time to revisit, reimagine, and reaffirm the various practices that are important to our community. There are seven… Culture Making, Friendship, Generosity, Invitation, Prayer, Storytelling, and the Table. Each one is a doorway leading to meaningful action, moreso than a litmus test for proper belief. That’s because we want to be the kind of community that does, that moves, that experiments and tries new things, that risks looking goofy, that lives. And it’s all reflective of our mission “Inviting ALL to come ALIVE in Christ”. We’ve experienced something of the abundant life of following Christ - glimpses of healing and wholeness, of generosity and grace - and we recognize it’s not for us alone. I’m looking forward to exploring these practices, to grow in them and have them grow on me, and I’m really looking forward to the stories we’ll share about coming alive in Christ. Abundant life is a gift for all, and we each have our own stories to tell. So join us this Fall. Sunday liturgies happen at 4pm at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian, Guelph.
